The Saltbox originated in New England and is an example of America colonial architecture. Folklore hols that the saltbox form was popularized by Queen Anne’s taxation of houses greater than one story. Since the rear of the roof descended to the height of a single-story building, the structure was exempt from the tax.

What is LP-Siding?

Painted LP-Siding:

Includes 2 different colors, one for siding and one for trim.

Primed LP-Siding:

Primer used on LP-Siding is sealed, However we recommend painting it within 5 years to assure longevity of the building. Primed siding is typically $200 less per building.
